Tacit Agent Guard Terms
These terms describe the hosted Tacit Agent Guard app surface operated by TACIT and used by merchants to connect approved external agents to Shopify product operations.
The app is designed as a merchant-controlled agent workflow: agents can inspect supported product data and prepare reviewed product changes, while merchants remain responsible for approval, rollback, revocation, and emergency stop decisions.
Merchant responsibility
You are responsible for the external agents you connect, the commands you enable, and the product changes you approve. Write commands require a preview and a one-time approval token, but you should review every change before applying it.
Permitted use
- Use the app only with Shopify stores you own or are authorized to manage.
- Use agent tokens only for supported Shopify product workflows.
- Keep agent tokens and approval tokens secret and revoke them if exposed.
Unsupported use
- Do not use the app for autonomous unreviewed product writes.
- Do not use the app to process payments, refunds, customer data, order data, checkout, or storefront theme code in v1.
- Do not bypass Shopify checkout, billing, security, privacy, or platform policies.
Availability and changes
The app can change as Shopify APIs, App Store requirements, security needs, and product capabilities evolve. We may suspend or revoke access to protect merchants, buyers, Shopify, or the app platform.
